Sponsored by the Minnesota Vikings and Midwest Dairy Council
Hey, kids! If you can’t stop talking while you’re watching the Vikings, here’s an opportunity to show the whole state your play-by-play skills: Minnesota kids entering third- through eighth-grades will be able to compete for a chance to participate in a Minnesota Vikings radio broadcast as a Junior Broadcaster.

On Saturday, October 11, kids can enter the contest and show off their play-by-play abilities at a live audition event at Rosedale Center (Roseville, Minn.) from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at noon; participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Eight talented kids will be chosen as 2008/2009 Junior Broadcaster finalists, and will get to attend one Minnesota Vikings home football game at the HHH Metrodome between September 2 and December 28, 2008. Each finalist will receive four tickets to the game, and be invited to participate in a radio broadcast to showcase their skills.
One of the eight finalists will be named the 2008/2009 Junior Broadcaster at a later event. Last year’s winner was Kylee Kohls of Litchfield.
